Positive highlights

Microsoft Azure is the perfect public cloud platform. I have been using it in my organization for the past five years and I can say this is a great decision to choose this cloud platform. Microsoft Azure keeps adding features/products according to the need and business requirements. The virtual machines are the most advanced feature from Azure, we are using this most of the time and I can say this is fully scalable and provide great flexibility to our cloud infrastructure and the applications.

Good frontend management interface.

I love the scalability and flexibility given to me when using Application Gateway. It's powerful, works as a layer 7 load balancer and provides me everything I'd need to offload SSL and load balancing to a cloud service and let's me focus on writing apps.

Negative highlights

Azure's Web UI does a good job of showing metrics on individual VMs, but it would be great if there was a way to show certain metrics from multiple VMs on one dashboard. For example, hard drive usage on our database VMs.

source

As with many platforms and packages, the worst part of Azure is the user interface. Besides being clunky and just pain odd, every time I use it, something major has changed.

source

I have been working on Azure from last 8 months, the only thing I can say about Azure is IMMATURE. Anytime your server will get rebooted, the connection between the VNets get lost, RDC or SSL won't work and when you ask Microsoft they will give some excuse which you can't buy.
